Maas on war

In December 2019, The German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas stated: „Peace has never been achieved through military means“. He is therefore insinuating that the war against Nazi Germany hadn’t created peace.

Dear citizens of America, Britain, France, Russia, Canada, Austalia, Poland, New Zealand, South-Africa, Greece, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Czech Republic and all the other allied forces,

I apologize for my Foreign Secretary’s rash words. The courageous men and women who fought and died in the war against Nazi Germany certainly brought peace and freedom to my country.

With your military you’ve restored peace in Germany. I therefore assure you my eternal gratitude.

Über tapferimnirgendwo
