In Montfavet, a town near the southern French city of Avignon, a man shouting „Allahu akbar“ threatened several people with a pistol. On the same day in a church in Nice, France, several people were injured and killed by a man who repeatedly shouted „Allahu Akbar“. He stormed the Basilica of Notre-Dame armed with a knife and stabbed the visitors inside the church. He also cut off the head of a 60-year-old woman.

You can engage in debate with Muslims, but just be careful not to lose your head.

Dear Muslims,

again, people in France have been brutally murdered by a man who claims to have committed his deeds in the name of Allah and Islam. The murderer calls himself a Muslim. He even considers himself to be a true Muslim, entitled to murder for Islam. He decapitates people in order to please Mohamed.

Muslims around the world take to the streets en masse to demonstrate against Mohamed caricatures. Why don’t Muslims take to the streets when people are murdered and heads are cut off in the name of Mohamed?

Does your faith seriously consider it more perverse to sketch a likeness of Mohamed than to decapitate a fellow human being? If that is truly your belief: to protest cartoons more than to protest murder in the name of Islam, then Islam is despicable.

Islam has massive problems. However, the problems are not caricaturists, critics and mockers, but all those Muslims who spread hatred and use violence in the name of their god, including all those Muslims who remain silent or even justify the violence. It’s not the satirists of Islam who should be criticized, but rather the fundamentalists of Islam.

I don’t care what Islam means. I just want the killing to stop. I want to live in peace. I want not to care about Islam. Don’t dare explain what Islam is supposed to mean. Instead, make sure you stop the Muslims who use Islam to murder.

Don’t force me to discuss Islam, but rather go to the terrorists and talk to them. It’s your Islam that’s instrumental in murder, not my criticism of Islam.

I know Christians who have left their church for much less.

Those who remain in the Islamic community without raising their voice against murder in the name of Islam, those who criticize caricatures but remain silent in the face of murder, those who declare that the freedom of the Enlightenment provokes the hatred of the fundamentalists, are complicit in the slaughter of human lives.
