Israel, you wonderful nation,

don’t let yourself be used by self-named German patriots who call you as a witness for their ideologies. They don’t really care about you. They’ll just as quickly throw you under the bus.

After the parliamentary elections on September 24, 2017, the AfD (Alternative for Germany) and its opponents began competing with each other in declaring themselves to be Israel’s best friend. The AfD claims they fight for Israel in the war against Islam, but opponents claim that the AfD challenges Israel’s right to exist. Both use Israel to defend their idea of a German people, renewed in moral goodness.

The AfD believes that Germany is on the verge of a hostile takeover by Islam and opponents believe that Germany is on the verge of a Nazi seizure of power through the AfD. The accusations are quite hysterical.

Christianity is firmly anchored in German society. The „C“ in Germany’s largest political party, the CDU, stands for the word „Christian“, and all official religious holidays are Christian. Neither is the AfD a Nazi party. People who say that and accuse those who voted for the AfD to have learned nothing from German history, have themselves learned nothing from history. They are engaging false equivalencies.

The Nazis were neither old farts wearing ugly ties with dog motives nor Swiss lesbians with doctorate degrees like the party leaders of the AfD. From the outset, the Nazis were mostly young male henchmen under the age of thirty, who were so convinced of themselves, that they allowed themselves to beat and kill their political opponents.

Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East,

two hostile German groups reach out to you to be their Jewish witness, their alibi. Be careful! They’re not your friends. They’re using you to reinforce their own reputations and to oppose their adversaries. Friends don’t manipulate; they offer support!

That your supposed friends don’t really care about you is evident from the fact that while they’re arguing about who your best friend is, they’ve not noticed that three Israelis were recently murdered by a terrorist who hates Jews. In Judea and Samaria, three Israelis were murdered in a terrorist attack early Tuesday morning after the German elections.

The attacker, a 37-year-old father of four children with a work permit for Israel, entered the Har Adar settlement and murdered there. He himself was consequently shot dead. In accordance with the Palestinian Authority, the surviving family members of the now deceased killer will receive a stately pension. Those funds are financed with European and German monies. The Palestinian Authority celebrates terrorist killers as martyrs. In 2015, the Palestinian leader, Abbas described the murder of Israelis by terrorists as „heroic“.

On March 24, 2017, German Foreign Minister, Sigmar Gabriel tweeted: „I met my friend Mahmoud Abbas. Germany supports a two-state solution & supports the establishment of a Palestine government.“

In 2005, Abbas was elected President of the Palestinian Authority. His term of office was supposed to end on January 9, 2009, however he continues to remain in power without legitimacy. He once stated: „In a final solution, we won’t tolerate the existence of a single Israeli in our country, whether civilian or soldier.“

On the day of Fatah’s 47th anniversary, Mufti Muhammad Hussein, whom Abbas has personally proclaimed the „spiritual leader of Palestinian autonomy,“ said the following words to cheering crowds: „The hour of resurrection will not come until we have destroyed the Jews.“

Fatah denies all Palestinians who are critical of the system, gay, lesbian, western, enlightened or feminist, the most elementary fundamental rights and Sigmar Gabriel calls the man who leads this troop his friend. Shortly before the German elections, he of all people said with an eye towards the AfD: „If the AfD were to actually win seats in Parliament, we’ll have Nazis for the first time in 70 years.“

Sigmar Gabriel, of all people, who calls a man his friend, who finances the murder of Jews and gives generous pensions to terrorists and their relatives, calls other people Nazis. What lack of morals! In the entire newly elected 19th German Parliament there’s not a single politician of the same caliber as the anti-Semite and homophobe, Mahmoud Abbas. Whoever calls such a leader his good friend should better reflect on his own conscience.

Indeed, the AfD is no better than the German Foreign Minister. On September 2, 2017, the AfD’s top candidate, Alexander Gauland, spoke the following words at the so-called Kyffhäuser meeting of the nationalist right-wing AfD group, „The Wing“: „That is why, dear friends, we have the right to bring back not only our country but also our past. If the French are rightly proud of their emperor and the British of Nelson and Churchill, we have the right to be proud of the achievements of German soldiers in two world wars.“

I wonder if he can even comprehend what the soldiers, of which he’s so proud, did as murderous losers. In essence, he went full frontal Islam with his statement. He sounded like an Islamist who justifies terror. He could have added: „The Nazis had nothing to do with Germany, „Mein Kampf“ means peace and 99.9% of all Wehrmacht soldiers were decent people!“

Alexander Gauland is proud of soldiers who fought and died for a Jew-hating system and Sigmar Gabriel calls a living Jew-hater who promotes and finances the murder of Jews his friend. While German columnists discuss whether Alexander Gauland is an antisemite, a friend of Sigmar Gabriel, supported with German funds, allows Jews to be murdered. Neither of them is a friend of Israel. They’re only using Israel as an alibi and actually prefer to see Jews as victims.

There are those „friends“ of Israel, who on every November 9th, sang with their school choir in front of the Reichskristallnacht memorial at the locations where the local synagogue was burned to the ground by the Nazis in 1938. They love to lay „stumble stones“ with the engraved names of Jews in sidewalks, only to trample over them. They organize excursions to Dachau and Theresienstadt and include „Schindler’s List“ in their video collections. For them, Jews are nothing more than ghosts from the past which reappear almost exclusively in commemoration ceremonies. At school, Judaism appears much more frequently in history lessons than in philosophy, ethics, religious or social studies. Jews are the dead of a past era, and not so much the living of today. When they meet a living Jew, there’s an accompanying whiff of a guilty conscience.

These „friends“ of Israel see themselves as debtors, whereby feelings of guilt arise. Deep down inside however, they will never excuse the Jews for Auschwitz. That’s why they hold Israel responsible for Germany’s moral recovery. More than eighty years after the Nazis came to power, Germans want to prevent a reoccurrence of the Nazis and Israel must help them. If Israel refuses to be used, those supposed friends, aged and with the last drop of ink, postulate as Günter Grass had shortly before his death:

„That the nuclear power of Israel endangers
The already fragile world peace?
Because it must be said
What even tomorrow may be too late to say;
Also because we–as Germans burdened enough–
Could be the suppliers to a crime
That is foreseeable, wherefore our complicity
Could not be redeemed through any of the usual excuses.“

If Israel doesn’t help Germany free itself of Nazis, then Israel itself itself is called Nazi!

These „friends“ of Israel have learned from history that they’re superior. Germany improved itself with Auschwitz! As if other countries must first organize a Holocaust before they can become as good as Germany!

The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin represents the biggest monument for these „friends“ of Israel. Former chancellor Gerhard Schröder once said that it was a place „where people like to go“. Historian Eberhard Jäckel even went so far to say: „There are countries in Europe that envy us because of this monument.“

As much as these patriots need Jews as an alibi, they need Nazis as a bogeyman. That’s why they see Nazis everywhere. Where there aren’t any, they just create them. They’ll even declare Israeli politicians and American presidents as Nazis. More than eighty years too late, they need Nazis to prevent the NSDAP from happening all over again. That’s why they dress up their political opponents as Nazis, scandalize every unreflected word and even see smoke coming from the chimneys of extermination camps when they hear the word „folk“. They hold a frightening death wish even if it means the collapse of democracy in order to prove that they’ll get it right this time. Such patriots create Nazis instead of prevent them.

Israel, the land of life,

For those people, you’ll only be forced laborers for German redemption. But, the best reason to be your friend is simply: You’re awesome!
