On December 8, 2017, more than a thousand men and women demonstrated at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. They celebrated the Intifada, celebrated Hamas, burned the Star of David, shouted in Arabic „death, death, Israel“ and chanted „Khaybar, Khaybar ya yahud“, an anti-Jewish slogan honoring mass murder of Jews committed by Mohammed.
On July 17, 2014, a mob charging down Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm roared „Jew, Jew, cowardly pig, come out and fight alone!“
These people don’t need a reason to become violent. The reason is already there: Jew hatred!
However, they need excuses now and then in order to regenerate a hatred they can use to persecute, attack and kill Jews. There will always be excuses, for no matter how Jews or Israelis behave, even the smallest, most humanly understandable acts can lead to a new pogrom being proclaimed under the title of an intifada. We have to be prepared.
The hate is there. We can hear it. We can see it. We can feel it. Those who remain silent are complicit. The future murderers are here and they make no secret of their hatred. They shout their hatred in masses. We must act. Now!
